Friday Favorites
It's been a crazy busy week, but here are 5 of my favorite things since Thanksgiving!
Last week was Thanksgiving and there is so much to be thankful for! I love the time spent in the kitchen with my girls preparing the food! We made a huuuuuge mess, but the food was so yummy and worth the clean-up. It's fun seeing my daughter's develop a love to cook! My daughter made these beautiful pies! I love to cook, but I am not a baker...so she did not get this skill from me!
On Thanksgiving morning, when they had a 1000 other things to do, our Empower Crew came to class and they worked HARD! What a way to start Thanksgiving - it put a smile on my face all day! I am so very thankful for the wonderful women in our classes!
My 13 year old created this beautiful watercolor for me! 80% of all the artwork in our home is artwork that one of my daughter's has created, or photographs they have taken! I love surrounding our home with art that is special to us!
No matter how old my three daugther's are, they always love the Trader Joe's Advent Calendars! I bought mine as soon as I saw them in the store, but if I remember correctly, they are only $1! Who doesn't love Trader Joes?
There is nothing better than decorating for Christmas! And there are two things that I can never, EVER, have enough of....fairy lights and faux snow!
My battery operated fairy lights are a staple year round. I love decorating my patio with glass laterns full of them, and the remote control makes my Christmas decorating so easy!
I love faux snow and I use it as a vase filler in all of my winter decorating! I found mine at Pottery Barn, but other stores carry it and it can be easily be reused more than one year.
