30 Minute Cardio Core Burner
I usually run on Saturday morning, but this particular Saturday I had to get my daughter to the softball fields early and it was REALLY cold outside. Thus, these cardio core circuits were born. I needed to burn calories with a quick workout that didn't require equipment. My girls even got in on the fun! As we get going on this Thanksgiving morning, this is the perfect workout to squeeze in before all the wonderful traditions begin.
Directions:
- 2-3 times through each circuit (3 times through each circuit takes about 7 minutes/circuit)
- ABCD repeat format
- rest as needed (try to go through ABCD then rest)

Warm up: 30 seconds each
- boxer shuffle, butt kicks, jumping jacks, skaters, good mornings, squat kicks, lunges, side lunges (click here for a warm up video demonstration)

Circuit 1:
- A. Heisman shuffle 20
- B. toe touch 20
- C. jump squat or modified jump squat 20
- D. bicycles 20
Circuit 2:
- A. skaters 20
- B. russian twist 20
- C. jump lunge or modified jump lunge 20
- C. long leg obliques 20
Circuit 3:
- A. burpee or burpee w/kick 10
- B. plank knee to elbow (stay on elbows)20
- C. 3 pulse squat jump 180* jump 10
- D. up down plank or plank hip taps 20
Circuit 4:
- A. high knees or high knee skip 20
- B. side plank elbow crunch L 10 & R 10
- C. jumping jack tap down 20
- D. cross punch crunch 20
